I. General Introduction
ISW1598 STS Integrated Keypad Prepaid Water Meter adopts STS encrption protocol. In this way, it realizes the prepayment function by controlled electronic valve. With keypad prepaid water meter and AMI system, water utility can avoid the difficulties and respective human&resources to collect the bill from residents. Therefore, the residents can easily purchase water amount at water vending point. After that, customer comes back to load 20 digits charging TOKEN via keypad. On another hand, customer can charge credit to water meter by remotely topping up function via data concentrator and AMI system. By the role of data concentrator, AMI system and water meter can communicate with each other in double way.
